Throughout the day yesterday...Valentine's Day...I could not help but be thankful for my love. On Friday, I took the boys to the movies for an afternoon date and when we arrived back home there were beautiful flowers on the counter. They still are just beautiful and catch my eye throughout the day...gently expressing the love of a man...my man.
On Saturday we enjoyed a family outing to the children's museum. It was a very crowded engineering day at the museum, but we muscled our way through each of the stations and watched as Mason constructed and invented. After a short nap that afternoon, I woke up to a continuation of engineering day as Mason and Donald were working through yet another science experiment (also seen in photo above). The evidences of the experiment also catch my eye throughout the day...again expressing the love of a man...2 little boys' Superman.
I am so in love with and so thankful for the man in our lives. I know that one day my 3 little boys will grow up and become men and I treasure the reality that God has given them a Daddy who models such a gentle, sacrificial love. I am thankful that he loves his family as Jesus loves the Church...oh the love of a man!
